- You can use it without shaking it the first time when you take it out of the box. If not, please reset (shake) the thermometer before using it.
- It is designed to have a stop feature in the tube, this helps you to lock the data. It can rise, but it can't go down automatically unless you shake it (tip down)
- Change the view angle slightly 3 to 5 degrees by rotating the thermometer, so you can easily read your temperature.
- Don't put it in hot water since the high temperature will be out of range of the thermometer, causing it to break.
- Don't put it in the refrigerator or in cold water to reset it, the only way to get the liquid to go down is to vigorously shake the thermometer.
